Anyone who's planned a wedding knows that they can run a tad bit on the pricey side—but hey, dreams don't come cheap. Still, a penny saved is one more penny towards your honeymoon, so who's gonna argue with that? Gilt's upcoming four-day wedding sale event, featuring deals and discounts —without the usual Bridezilla-induced pushing and elbowing that might go down at a typical sample sale—will be one more reason to "say yes to the dress" (sorry, we couldn't help ourselves).
That said, as anyone who's ever planned a wedding knows, it's not just about the dress. From October 20 through October 24, the site will be posting daily deals running the gamut from gowns, jewelry, footwear and men's suits, to spa packages, makeup appointments, fine china and home goods, and yes, even cakes.
We're predicting a virtual frenzy, especially over the Alberta Ferretti and Temperley London wedding gowns. Ok, maybe it is all about the dress.
