The 2017 List of Dallas-Fort Worth's 150 Largest Public Companies

Seven companies made their debuts this year in The Dallas Morning News’ annual ranking of top public companies in North Texas.Biotechnology company Reata Pharmaceuticals Inc. went public in May 2016 on NASDAQ, and infrastructure pipe and products company Forterra Inc. joined in October. Home decor company At Home Group Inc. began trading on the New York Stock Exchange in August.Two companies that went public in 2017, trading on NYSE, also appear in the ranking: Irving-based Invitation Homes Inc. and Gainesville-based Select Energy Services Inc.Other new names this year are medical products producer Nuvectra Corp., which spun off from Frisco-based Greatbatch Inc. in March 2016, and Vistra Energy Corp.
