Pastor Accused of Sexually Abusing Girls He Met at Fort Worth Church

A pastor accused of sexually abusing two juveniles he met at his Fort Worth church has been arrested. Jose Francisco Bernal, 52, is facing two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child, Hurst police said. He was arrested at his home in the 7200 block of Deville Drive in North Richland Hills on Wednesday afternoon. Two women told police that Bernal sexually abused them on multiple occasions between 2007 and 2013 when they were juveniles living in Hurst. Police said Bernal met the females at Tabernaculo De Vida Pentecostal Church on West Dickson Street in Fort Worth.
