Officer Unhurt After Squad Car Struck by Hit-and-run Driver in Northwest Dallas

A Dallas police officer wasn't injured when a squad car was struck by another vehicle Thursday morning in northwest Dallas.The officer wasn't in the vehicle when the crash occurred around 2:45 a.m. at a motel in the 2300 block of Stemmons Trail, police said.The squad car was still drivable, so a brief chase ensued as the officer followed a silver SUV until losing sight of it, police said.  Continue reading...
