NBC5 Forecast: Rain Ending, But Even Colder Overnight

An all day rain left North Texas wet and chilled, with temperatures in the 40s all day. But the rain was much appreciated. Rainfall was lighter towards the Red River, but over an inch fell from southern Tarrant and Dallas Counties, to the south.The rain tapered off in Fort Worth by 4 pm, and should end in Dallas around 5 pm. Rain will continue into the evening south and east of Dallas. from west to east this afternoon. After a chilly start to the morning, a mix of clouds and sun is on tap for Thursday, with slightly warmer as afternoon temperatures climb back to near 60°. A gradual warming trend is ahead of us through the rest of the week and first half of the weekend.
