Nasher Prize Winner's Health Won't Allow Her to Travel to Dallas for Award Ceremony

For the first time in its four-year history, the winner of the Nasher Prize will not be coming to Dallas to formally accept the award, which includes a $100,000 honorarium.Nasher director Jeremy Strick issued a statement on Thursday regarding this year's recipient, German artist Isa Genzken. "We learned today that Isa will not be able to join us for the award gala on Saturday evening due to her health."Genzken was named the winner last September, but the annual recipient usually follows up with a trip to Dallas in April, when he or she formally receives the award and participates in various activities at the Nasher Sculpture Center.  Continue reading...
