Man Shot During Car Chase in Johnson, Ellis Counties

A man was shot early Monday after ramming a police car during a chase across Johnson and Ellis counties, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reports.The unidentified suspect was taken by helicopter to a hospital. The incident occurred about 4 a.m. Monday in Johnson County. The chase ended near North Oak Branch Road and Maypearl in Ellis County, according to WFAA.No law enforcement officers were injured.
