If operating a skating rink sounds like your cup of roller boogie, the city of Dallas is looking to hand over the keys to a slightly used, in-the-process-of-being-updated joint on East Ledbetter Drive — Southern Skates, which the city tried to offload a decade ago till the feds and then once-and-current council member Dwaine Caraway raised a stink over a proposed sale.
