Florida Investor Snaps Up Lakeside Hotel in Rockwall

A lakeside hotel just east of Dallas has changed hands.The Hilton Dallas/Rockwall Lakefront is a 231-room, full-service hotel on the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. It's in the Harbor development in Rockwall.The HFF team marketed the property on behalf of the seller,Florida investor Driftwood Acquisitions & Development LP purchased the decade-old hotel from TRC Capital Partners LLC.Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. brokered the sale. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.The hotel was renovated last year and has 31,532 square feet meeting space, a new outdoor venue with lake views and three food and beverage facilities.HFF's John Bourret and Austin Brooks negotiated the sale.Miami-based Driftwood Acquisitions & Development is a hotel investor that has been in business since 2015.  Continue reading...
