When a gunman shot and killed five police officers at a peaceful protest last July, photojournalists from The Dallas Morning News were among the first on the ground capturing and recording the tragic events.Now the Dallas Public Library, in partnership with The News, is giving those journalists a chance to tell their stories of covering the July 7 ambush.“In This Moment: Power of Photography” will be a panel discussion hosted at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library on July 6 at 6 p.m. News photojournalists Ashley Landis, Rose Baca, Smiley Pool and Tom Fox will talk about their experiences the night of the shooting and the weeks after.
