Army Vet Who Volunteered at Fort Worth School Admitted Sexually Assaulting Boy at His Home, Police Say

A man who volunteered at a Fort Worth elementary school is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old boy this month.Aaron Thomas Roskey, 43, has was arrested May 10 on one count of aggravated sexual-assault of a child. He remains in custody at the Tarrant County jail, with bail set at $35,000.According to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the boy told a friend May 9 about an incident that took place the previous evening. The friend then told a counselor, who alerted police.The 12-year-old told authorities that he was visiting a friend in north Fort Worth when Roskey sat next to him on a couch and started to touch him inappropriately, the affidavit says.When the boy objected, Roskey said he didn't care and warned that "something bad will happen to you" if the boy told his mother, the Star-Telegram reported.  Continue reading...
