2 Suspects Targeted Asian Women in Purse-snatching Incidents in Grand Prairie, Police Say

Grand Prairie police are searching for two male suspects who appeared to be targeting Asian women in two purse-snatching incidents that happened within a week at a Grand Prairie strip mall.The first incident was after a woman opened her passenger door and put her purse on the seat of her car about 7:25 p.m. on Sept. 24 in the Asia Times Square lot at 2615 W. Pioneer Parkway. As she walked around the car to the driver’s side, a male suspect opened the passenger door, took the purse and fled, police said. Surveillance video showed the two suspects used the woman’s credit card in Fort Worth. They were driving a dark color, newer model Chrysler 300, police said.  Continue reading...
