Fantasy Land: Studs and Duds, Week 6

A two-time champion in a hardcore keeper league, including some know-it-all media "experts", Adam Boedeker gives his fantasy expertise on a weekly basis.

Stud of the Week

Robert Griffin III, QB, WAS — Sorry, Monte Kiffin, but your Tampa 2 defense hasn't inspired much confidence in anyone yet, especially not after giving up 51 points and spoiling the finest game of Tony Romo's career last week against Denver. RG3 is no Peyton, but he's starting to come around after a slow start and he has some weapons, namely Pierre Garcon. Griffin should have plenty of guys to throw to on Sunday night in Arlington and plenty of room to fit in balls. It's true, Griffin's running prowess hasn't been nearly the same as in 2012 after his knee injury and subsequent surgery, but there's still the possibility of that, too.

Honorable mention: Terrance Williams, DAL (vs. WAS); Justin Blackmon, JAC (at DEN); Cecil Shorts, JAC (at DEN); Alshon Jeffrey, CHI (vs. NYG).

Dud of the Week

DeSean Jackson, WR, PHI — Jackson has been a pleasant surprise this year. He's always shown dazzling ability and speed, but this year, he's one of the league's top receivers. But this week isn't going to be Jackson's week. He's going to be on the dreaded Revis Island against the Tampa Bay Bucs, and he's going to be stranded on it with backup quarterback Nick Foles getting the start after Michael Vick's hamstring injury last week.

Honorable mention: Larry Fitzgerald, ARI (at SF); Maurice Jones-Drew (at DEN); Chris Johnson, TEN (at SEA); Matt Schaub, HOU (vs. STL).
