The venerable Dallas Market Center has canceled this year's Dallas Fashion Awards, according to Women's Wear Daily.
Citing their desire to focus funds on "core businesses" like wholesale shows, the Center said they spoke to the showroom's tenants before making the decision to drop the annual awards.
Designers like Carolina Herrera, Isaac Mizrahi, and Todd Oldham have received awards in the past.
The show, usually held in October, has been a major event since 1975.
