DART promises more trains for NBA All-Star weekend.

Instead of driving into downtown during the upcoming NBA All-Star weekend, there may be a better solution.

Dallas Area Rapid Transit said they have fixed the problems that plagued them during last fall's Texas/OU game and will now provide more trains to service the Dallas Convention Center and Victory Station.

Both sites will be hosting events over the weekend.

Also, the Trinity Railway Express will be adding cars to its regular schedule and will have post-event trains available Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening.

The NBA All-Star Game is Sunday night in Arlington at Cowboys Stadium.  There is no train service to the stadium in Arlington. The closest TRE stop near Cowboys Stadium is at CentrePort/DFW Airport.
