Haltom City police are investigating after possible human remains were found in a field.
According to police, a man was walking his dog at about 5:30 p.m when he found the remains in a field on the 5300 block of Fossil Creek Boulevard.
Haltom City police were called and took custody of the remains. They have since been sent to the Tarrant County medical examiner for identification.
No further information has been released.
