Overheated Worker Collapses on Lewisville Silo

Chopper 5 saw Lewisville fire department leaving the scene after a man reportedly passed out on top of a silo at a cement plant.

The man is believed to have lost consciousness due to the heat.

The plant is located at 725 East College in Lewisville.

 Firefighters had traveled to the plant to rescue the overheated worker, however, the man was able to climb down a ladder after the incident, avoiding the need for a high-angle rescue.
