Eleven people have died, including a young child, after severe storms spawned several tornadoes Saturday afternoon and evening in North Texas, officials say.
National Weather Service Meteorologist Anthony Bain in Fort Worth said several tornadoes touched down, although the full extent of damage would not be known until daylight Sunday.
