An El Paso couple has pleaded guilty to bringing women across the U.S.-Mexico border to work as prostitutes.
The El Paso Times reported that Ronald and Maria Blake pleaded guilty this week to aiding and abetting coercion and enticement. The 45-year-olds operated an escort service that brought five women from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, to El Paso between 2011 and 2013.
El Paso County Sheriff's deputies arrested the Blakes in 2013 after the duo advertised the escort service online.
They each face up to 20 years in federal prison when they are sentenced.
