Dallas police said a drive-by shooter shot a 9-month-old girl in the leg Wednesday night.

Witnesses at the home in the 4600 block of Bridle Wood Drive said the baby was at the dinner table when someone in a dark-colored sport utility vehicle shot multiple rounds into the home and drove off.

The SUV may have been a Hummer, witnesses told police.

Five other people were inside the home at the time of the shooting and were not injured.

The baby was taken to Children's Medical Center in good condition, Dallas police said.
