Fort Worth police are calling the death of a 9-year-old boy who was struck in a parking lot Monday a tragic accident.
Police said they were called about 7:30 p.m. to the CVS in the 700 block of West Seminary Drive.[[306689991,L]]
There, they said Orlando Hernandez was returning a shopping cart to the store and did not look for traffic when he was hit by a truck that had just pulled into the parking lot.
Medics transported Hernandez to the hospital, where he died.

Police said surveillance video from the store confirmed it was an accident, and no charges have been filed.
