Prince Fielder won pretty much every postseason award he was up for this season, including three separate AL Comeback Player of the Year awards after his bounce-back 2015 season.
Fielder hit .305/.378/.463 with 23 homers and 98 RBIs to earn those nods, but he missed out on one earlier this week when Kansas City Royals' DH Kendrys Morales was named the 2015 Edgar Martinez Outstanding Designated Hitter Award winner.
Morales, the switch-hitting veteran, hit .295 with 39 doubles, 21 home runs, 104 RBIs and 78 runs in 141 games — numbers that went pretty much neck and neck with Fielder, but when you consider Morales' team won a World Series, I guess it gives him the nod.
Fielder didn't start the year as the Rangers' DH, but it didn't take long for them to make the permanent switch with Fielder and Mitch Moreland, and next year you can expect Fielder and Morales to once again be two of the best DHs in the game.
