The good news:  USA Today predicts the 2016 Dallas Cowboys will finish with a record of 9-7.

The bad news:  USA Today has the Giants winning the NFC East. They write Dallas will miss the playoffs.

    Davis wrote:

Dallas Cowboys (9-7): They're banking on the offense to return to its 2014 form with QB Tony Romo and WR Dez Bryant healthy and first-round RB Ezekiel Elliott projected as a superstar. But how many shootouts can the Cowboys survive with a defense riddled by suspensions?

Davis predicted this order for the NFC East.

    1.  Giants 9-7

    2.  Cowboys 9-7

    3.  Washington 7-9

    4.  Eagles  4-12

His Super Bowl LI prediction is Pittsburgh over Arizona.
