Romo Bringing Intensity to the Scout Team

Tony Romo has been practicing with the Cowboys' scout team all week

We knew Tony Romo would be working with the scout team this week, as he continues to work back from that fractured clavicle, suffered in Week 2--the last time the Cowboys won a game.

What we didn’t know was how amusing this apparently is for Romo’s teammates.

I thought it was pretty funny seeing him out there,” said veteran tight end Jason Witten, per the Dallas Morning News. “And he was in rare form, as he always is. He's such a competitor in moving guys around, adjusting the routes and the protection. Just good to see him back out there. He brings a lot of energy in that huddle even though it was on scout team.”

By all accounts, with a little over a week until his scheduled return, Romo has been sharp in practice.

“You can't make a play on him,” said veteran cornerback Corey White. “He's real smart with the ball, real precise. He knows where he's going with the ball. You can't get a jump on him.”
