Man Sought in Multiple Subway Restaurant Robberies in Irving: Police

Man caught on camera suspected in two robberies

Police in Irving are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who attempted to rob two Subway locations Thursday night.

Irving police were called to an attempted robbery at the Subway store at 2301 North O' Connor Road at 8:55 p.m., where a man entered the store acting as though he had a weapon in his jacket pocket. He approached the clerk and demanded cash from the register before being scared off.

Detectives believe he is the same person who committed a similar robbery at the Subway on 821 N. Belt Line Road later that night. He was seen making similar gestures and demands, and left after receiving some of the cash from the register.
