Police said a man was shot while trying to break into a Dallas apartment early Monday morning. [[420870243,C]]
Dallas police said they responded to a shooting call at the Primrose Park Villas in the 2500 block of John West Road at about 2 a.m.
Investigators said a man tried to break into an apartment located above his mother's apartment. Someone inside the apartment shot twice at the man, hitting him once.
Police said the man was transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.
No further details have yet been released.
