A man was arrested early Saturday morning after leading authorities on a high-speed chase through several North Texas counties, police said.
Arlington police officers said they tried to pull the man over along Interstate 30 just after midnight when he sped away from them.
The chase went through the Midcities on state Highway 183. Eyewitnesses said the man was going at least 90 miles per hour.

Police eventually threw out a spike strip in Hunt County to end the chase.
Dispatchers with the Arlington Police Department and Hunt County Sheriff’s Office would not give additional details about the driver Saturday afternoon.
