Looking Back at Texas License Plate History

We like to say “Texas Connects Us” around here. So, too, does our Texas license plate. There’s a good chance yours is the basic black-and-white design, which is a throwback to the plates from the 1960s. But the Lone Star State hasn’t always made things so simple.
