Jean Family Arrives in Dallas Ahead of Amber Guyger Murder Trial

All eyes will be on Dallas next week as the Amber Guyger murder trial gets underway. Botham Jean’s parents are in Dallas with more family members on their way. Family attorney Lee Merritt says Jean’s parents met with prosecutors Thursday to prepare them for the trial including photos, testimony and evidence they’ve never seen. Meantime, the community is preparing too. Thursday, about 20 people gathered for a community meeting hosted by the Next Generation Action Network. Legal experts were brought in to discuss laws surrounding the case.
