Woman Rescued From Flooded Car in Hunt County

A woman was rescued Thursday after her car became stranded in swift-moving floodwaters in Hunt County.

Emergency crews responded to a water rescue at about 9:15 a.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 36, near Farm-to-Market Road 1564.

Video from Texas Sky Ranger showed the driver safe in the front seat of a Hunt County Sheriff's patrol vehicle. Her sedan was left disabled in floodwaters that covered a lengthy portion of the roadway.
