Hasan: “I Would Still be a Martyr” If Executed

The New York Times reports that Major Nidal Hasan told mental health professionals in 2010 that he “would still be a martyr” if convicted and executed by the government for the Fort Hood shootings. His remarks are being made public as Hasan’s standby attorneys insist he’s angling for a death sentence.
