Repairs have been made and water should be flowing again in Fort Worth after a massive water main break in Trinity Park over the weekend, the water department says.
Mary Gugliuzza with the Fort Worth Water Department said a 48-inch concrete line ruptured at about 8 a.m. Saturday and sent water gushing from underground.
Roads in the park and along University Drive reopened Sunday as the final repairs were made.
Crews were worked around the clock over the weekend to shut off the water and make repairs.
Water department crews were flushing the lines and expected service to return sometime Monday morning, though Gugliuzza couldn't give an exact time.
