FEMA Claims Denied for December Ice Storm

Plano is just one city dealing with the aftermath of an appeal to the federal government for disaster assistance following the December 2013 ice storm. City manager Bruce Glasscock told NBC 5 the city has learned this week that they’ll have to eat nearly $700,000 in ice storm spending, including overtime, street sanding and debris removal.
