Dallas Police Investigate 6 Fatal Shootings in 2015

After three people were fatally shot Sunday morning, police say they’re now investigating six fatal shootings in the first five days of 2015.

Only five days into 2015, Dallas Police Department officials said they're already investigating several fatal shootings.

After three people were fatally shot early Sunday morning, police said six people have now died from shootings this year.

Quixotic World Magical Event Space, Deep Ellum

Police said a fight at the Quixotic World Club in the 2800 block of Main Street in Deep Ellum led to a fatal shooting at about 1:12 a.m. Sunday.

Officers found 17-year-old Trevon Brown with a gunshot wound on his chest, police said. Brown was taken to Baylor University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Detectives interviewed several witnesses, but have not yet listed a suspect

Hillstar Drive, Pleasant Grove

Police said they found two people dead in a home in the 7400 block of Hillstar Drive in Pleasant Grove at about 1:57 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities said they found 33-year-old Patricia Tinajero inside the home dead from several gunshot wounds to the upper body. Officers also found an unidentified man — who police said Tinajero was dating — shot in the head.

Police said they're investigating the incident as a murder-suicide.
