Dallas Officer Saves Shooting Victim With Tourniquet

Dallas police said an officer used a tourniquet to save one of two teens shot during a house party at a Fair Park neighborhood Thursday night.

Several teens were at a party in the 2800 block of Burger Avenue when police said some of them began to argue. Police said argument then turned into fighting.

Police said a vehicle drove by and fired multiple gunshots into the crowd at about 10 p.m.

Officers arrived and found the two male victims, ages 16 and 17 years. Police said an officer used a tourniquet from a "Downed Officer Kit" to save one of the them.

Two people were taken to nearby hospitals. Their conditions are not yet known
