New Year's Eve Shooting Kills Dallas Man

Investigators say a 23-year-old Dallas man was shot and killed after an apparent argument on New Year's Eve.

Dallas Police spokeswoman Chinh Le said in a statement Thursday that officers responded to reports of gunfire on Kingsley Drive around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A victim identified as Victor Colin suffered a gunshot wound and was taken to Baylor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Le said witnesses reported that Colin had been arguing with three unknown males prior to reports of gunfire.

She said no description of any suspects in the shooting had been given, but that homicide detectives were "working to develop leads."
