Here's a daily list of crimes across North Texas compiled on Feb. 17.

Grand Prairie Chase
A chase in Grand Prairie ended in North Dallas with one person under arrest. Police said the driver took off when officers tried to stop him at a traffic light near Carrier Boulevard and Pioneer Parkway. The driver fled and officers gave chase until eventually abandoning the pursuit on the ground. Dallas' Air One followed the driver from the sky until the driver bailed out of the car at Coit Road and Green Hollow. The driver was arrested without further incident. Police said the car was stolen.

Arlington Chase
A chase in Arlington left one person hospitalized and another in jail. The chase started on Pioneer Parkway and ended in Fort Worth at east Loop 820 at Rosedale after several tires blew out and the driver crashed. The driver was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The passenger of the vehicle was arrested. Police said the car was stolen.

Fort Worth Officer Shoots Man
Fort Worth police said an officer shot a man after he pulled a gun on the officer. The officer was investigating a suspicious person on Grand Avenue when he encountered the man in an alleyway. According to police, the man pulled a gun on the officer -- the officer fired and struck the man. Police have not yet revealed any further information on the shooting or the man who was shot.

Priest Free on Bond, Awaits Retrial for Assault
A 67-year-old Texas priest is free on bond while he awaits a new trial on charges of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy in the 1990s. The Eastland County Sheriff's Department said the Rev. Thomas Teczar posted $30,000 bond earlier this month. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the diocese is in the process of defrocking him. Read this story at NBCDFW.com.
