Benbrook Middle-High School in Benbrook was evacuated for a short time Tuesday morning due to a bomb threat received on social media.
The Fort Worth Independent School District confirmed the threat, and said the school was evacuated as a precaution while police investigated.
The threat, which school officials said they did not believe was credible, threatened a particular class and an explosive device, NBC 5 has learned.
Students were allowed back in the building at about 9:35 p.m. after nothing was found.
