Police in death are investigating a woman's death as a homicide Friday morning.
Police were called to the 600 block of Dunaway Lane at about 4:37 a.m. Friday.
According to police, officers discovered the body of a woman inside the home, as well as potential witnesses.
Investigators secured the area around the house until a search warrant could be issued. Officers did not release information regarding how the woman died, or her identity.
Police asked the public to avoid the intersection of Kimbrough Road and Dunaway Lane as the investigation continued.
