The Angel Tree Program puts gifts under those trees for tens of thousands of families who need it.

Six-year-old Cranston McKinley is a former angel tree recipient. His father, Bryce, lost everything — including their home — just before Christmas three years ago. He's picked himself up since then but the Angel Tree Program provided a light for him during the darkest time of his life.
The latest news from around North Texas.
“I just made a world of difference. It made his life not have any hiccups. He didn't feel that influx of the stress that I had and the worry that I had for him,” Bryce McKinley said.
McKinley now gives back each year by buying gifts for angels who need them.
He says it’s a humbling experience and a reminder to appreciate the little things in life.
