Police found an 87-year-old woman dead inside a Cleburne home Monday morning.
At around 11 a.m., the Cleburne Police Department responded to a call regarding a possible homicide. When officers arrived at the home on the 1600 block of Spring Branch Drive, they found the body of Betty Ball.
Police said they arrested the woman's 82-year-old husband, Samuel Alfred Ball. He is currently at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center, charged with murder.
The medical examiner will determine how Ball died.
The Cleburne Police Department's investigation is ongoing.
