The Jonas Brothers have a new movie coming out this weekend, and so it's only fitting that North Texas' newest celebrity residents make an appearance nearby. Only Disney doesn't want you there.
Unfortunately, reports that fans might get a chance to see Kevin, Joe and Nick were apparently wrong. The Dallas Morning News reported Tuesday that a publicist let the cat out of the bag by saying that the Jonas Brothers would be at Main Event Entertainment in Grapevine on Saturday.
Original reports by the DMN said that the brothers would walk the red carpet and greet fans after a private screening of their new movie "Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience." However, Wednesday, GuideLive updated the story reporting that Disney wanted fans to know the event is "NOT open to the public."
In other words -- don't show up at Main Event hoping to see the brothers Jonas.
While some fans might be perfectly content to watch the brothers on the big screen, there's no doubt many fans will not be deterred by Disney's statement and will show up anyway hoping to catch a small glimpse of Westlake's celebrity residents.
