Vandals Destroy Piece of History in Terlingua Ghost Town, Officials Say

A piece of Texas history was destroyed last week when vandals demolished the ruins of a family's home in the Terlingua ghost town. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible, the Brewster County Sheriff's Office said. The vandalized ruins were what remained of the home of the Valenzuela family, the Terlingua Trading Company store said in a Facebook post.   Continue reading...
