Storms Possible Friday

Windy and mild weather is expected overnight through Friday. The chance for storms will return Friday as well. There could be a brief round in the morning, and another round is possible later in the day. The threat for severe weather will depend on where the dry line (separation between the humid air to the east and dry air to the west) sets up. We will either have a shot at a few strong to severe storms, or it's going to be a windy and hot afternoon. Right now, it appears the best chance for storms will be east of DFW Friday afternoon. Stay tuned for updates on the forecast.A cold front will sweep through Friday evening and usher in much cooler air for the weekend. Highs on Saturday and Sunday will stay in the 60s.
