Rolls-Royce to Test Jet Engines at Shuttered American Airlines' Facility in Fort Worth

Two years after American Airlines and Rolls-Royce shut down their joint maintenance operation at Fort Worth’s Alliance Airport, a familiar tenant announced it’s planning to take up space in the 440,000 square-foot facility in the coming months.Rolls-Royce announced Monday it will establish a jet engine testing facility at the former site of Texas Aero Engine Services, which performed engine maintenance, repair and overhaul work on American Airlines’ aircraft until it was shut down in early 2016 amid a declining workload.  Continue reading...
