A motorcyclist died after running a red light and crashing into an SUV in Far North Dallas Thursday night, police said. The incident occurred at the intersection of Preston and Spring Valley Roads about 8:45 p.m. The impact of the crash threw the motorcyclist several feet, where he died. He has not yet been identified. The SUV sustained severe damage to the front windshield, but the driver sustained no serious injuries. Officers shut down part of the intersection. Another motorcyclist died Wednesday after speeding and getting struck by a Hummer driver who failed to yield the right of way in west Oak Cliff, police said. Continue reading...
