Though doctors told her she'll always deal with excruciating pain, Margaret Cantu can find moments off relief thanks to prescription medication she gets through Medicare. The Princeton woman, who broke her back in 1990, keeps track of just how much medication she's taking every day on a bedside whiteboard to make sure doesn't overuse it. But, she says, she still she has to cut her pills in half to make them last through the month until she can get a refill. “Nothing is helping.
