A woman was wounded in a drive-by shooting early Sunday when someone fired multiple rounds into three Mesquite townhomes, police say. The woman, who was asleep in her bed, was struck in the head shortly before 2 a.m. in the 2600 block of Franklin Drive, near Butterfield Drive, police said.
