Bat at Fort Worth Water Gardens Tests Positive for Rabies, Health Officials Say

Tarrant County health officials are warning the public after a bat tested positive for rabies at a popular Fort Worth attraction.The bat was found in the water at the Fort Worth Water Gardens on July 15, according to Tarrant County Public Health. It later tested positive for rabies.Anyone who came into contact with the bat is asked to call Fort Worth's animal control department at 817-392-1234.  Continue reading...
