Mansfield Independent School District says one student was transported to a local hospital after a vehicle collided with a school bus Friday morning.

MISD bus 212 from Lakeridge High School was hit by a car at Navigator and Peninsula, according to the Mansfield police.

The district said the one student was only taken as a precaution after the crash. The driver of the vehicle was also transported to the hospital.

Nine other students on the bus were uninjured and were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
